Arbitration Training Center is an academic institution devoted to promoting Arbitration, Negotiation and Mediation Training Worldwide. ATC originated from the need to provide holistic training to ADR professionals that balances academic excellence with a practical approach. Departing from the rigor inherent to university programs but providing more structure and learning methodologies than other courses in the market, ATC stands as a unique and fresh alternative for those who want down-to-earth results without jeopardizing excellency.
Developed by ADR professionals and law professors, inspired by the theories and principles applied in educating adults, sports psychology and empowered by technological resources, ATC expands the boarders of the current ADR teaching models to fight for disruptive techniques, providing global access to ADR and developing institutional training materials in different languages to reach as many professionals worldwide as possible, with the goal to certify the knowledge and skills of those involved in the ADR community and partnering with the brightest talents in the field to achieve excellence.

Almudena is passionate about dispute resolution in the fields of energy, construction and technology (ENCOTECH). For almost a decade she represented a State Owned Company in Mexico in more than 30 commercial arbitrations in the energy sector before the ICC, LCIA and CIAC, focusing her practice in electricity purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts as well as contracts for natural gas transportation services. She has advised the Mexican government over the compatibility of reforms in the energy sector with international treaties; in particular investor-state arbitration and state-state arbitration under the USMCA.
She advices clients and law firms on arbitration matters, she holds teaching positions at UNAM, Tec de Monterrey and Escuela Libre de Derecho and she also sits as arbitrator.
She founded ATC as a means to offer a fresh approach to training in alternative dispute resolution, publish disruptive publications and certify professionals in the field in order to positively impact ADR globally.
